“It’s security through buggy design. Kind of like owning a Pinto. Sure, they can break into it. But where are they going to go?”

From a conversation with a co-worker earlier this week about moving a specific server into the DMZ. His assertion was that we didn’t have to worry about securing it since it was likely to spontaneously reboot while someone was trying to break into it.
